YOGA, SOUND & SUNSET Spring Edition / Bell Tent
Mellor's Wood, Shepshed, Leicestershire
Friday, May 22nd 2026
6pm - 9pm
I’m so happy to bring back my Yoga, Sound & Sunset gatherings.
Spring edition, Friday 22 May — the perfect way to begin the bank holiday weekend.
We’ll start with gentle yoga, drop into a long immersive sound bath with large gongs, singing bowls and voice, and close in stillness as the day turns to dusk.
If the weather is kind, we’ll practice by the lake and watch the sunset together.
If not, we’ll stay warm in the bell tent with candlelight – trataka meditation.
There’s something really special about practicing in nature.
You hear the subtle sounds around you, your body softens, and everything begins to slow down.
Being close to the earth changes how you receive the sound — the body feels it more fully, not just through the ears, but through the whole system.
The ground naturally carries vibration, so the resonance of the gongs and bowls travels differently, deeper, more embodied.
That’s why I love creating gatherings outdoors — it allows you to land, connect, and receive in a much more grounded way.

FAMILY YOGA & SOUND BATH / Bell Tent
Mellor's Wood, Shepshed, Leicestershire
Sunday, May 31st 2026
11:30am - 1:30pm
Ages 4–12
Limited to 8 families
A family-friendly session for you and your child to move, rest, and enjoy the outdoors.
We’ll begin with simple breathing and playful yoga to release energy, build body awareness, and gently settle into the space.
A 20-minute sound bath will follow, offering a chance for you both to rest and experience sound and vibration in your own way.
After the sound journey, we will use some of the instruments to connect and create sounds together, giving ourselves a small shared sound experience. With a little fun, creativity, and a touch of confidence, we can create something unique together.
Even for us as adults, moving the body is essential for a healthy lifestyle, but just as important are play, fun, and laughter. These are things children naturally respond to and benefit from when they see them in us.
Children develop coordination and body awareness as they grow, and experiences like this can support focus, listening, creativity, and self-expression.
Above all, this is time for you and your child to be together — not in a building or on a device, but in nature.
We’ll finish with time for a picnic and the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings.
Set in a bell tent outdoor space in Shepshed.
Yoga mats provided. You’re welcome to bring blankets or anything for comfort.
Please bring your own food for the picnic.

WAKING THE WILD SELF. Summer Day Retreat for Women.
Cowslip Meadows, Laughton, Lutterworth LE17 6QF
Saturday, July 4th 2026
11:00am - 9pm
A day retreat for women to come together, move, connect and gradually awaken their wilder, more instinctive side.
This is a continuation of the spring retreat, moving into the summer phase — working with a different quality of energy. It is a time for women to gather together to be and share authentically for the highest good of ourselves, the whole planet and all her beings. We will bring our collective prayers of healing and transformation together at this unique time in humanity’s history – to strengthen and solidify them before taking them out into our communities.
We’ll be spending the day at Cowslip Meadows, a countryside retreat with open fields, a lake and a wood-fired sauna — a simple, natural setting that makes it easy to slow down and be outside.
We begin slowly with a sharing circle; sharing our intentions, hopes and dreams together before moving into a grounding session — gentle yin based yoga with somatic elements, focusing on opening the chest, breath and the heart meridian.
We will connect with the all elements and offer gratitude to them throughout the day, although the focal element of the day will be fire.
In traditional Chinese medicine, summer is linked to the Fire element, connected to the heart, expression and outward energy.
The day follows this idea — starting by settling the system, then gradually building into more openness, expression and energy.
After the movement, we share a nourishing lunch — creating our own Buddha bowls together, with time to rest and reset or wild swim.
The afternoon continues in a more inward direction, beginning with a sound bath using gongs and other instruments — a space to lie down, soften and settle the nervous system.
From there, we move into an expressive womb and voice session led by Andrea, exploring and embodying the power that lives in our womb and is expressed through our voice. We will tap into our direct source connection by listening to the womb and offering healing through vibrating our vocal cords and liberating our unique, wild voices.
In the evening, we head down to the lake to embrace our wilder side.
Sauna, wild swimming, fire, music and movement.
We begin with a guided somatic movement and barefoot dance session — a chance to loosen the body, drop out of the head and move more wildly, following rhythm and feeling rather than form; letting our animal bodies express what we have held within for too long.
Music will be playing throughout, creating a relaxed space to move, dance or simply be.
Andrea will also hold a space for live looping — an opportunity to experiment with your voice and build on what was explored earlier in the day.
The day will conclude with a relaxed fire circle; sharing stories, songs and feelings before closing for the evening.
The day builds gradually:
from stillness → into movement → into expression → into wildness
starting on the ground, ending dancing barefoot

Welcome to an extraordinary offering – a sacred overnight sound immersion designed for those who are called to rest deeply, reconnect with inner rhythm, and explore expanded states through sound.
This is an experience unlike a conventional workshop, retreat or sound bath. It is a held vigil of sound and silence across the night, hosted by The Sound Sanctuary Collective — four seasoned sound practitioners with years of experience guiding people into deep resonance, nervous system reset and embodied presence.
Our intention is to create a safe, held, uninterrupted field in which your body, mind, and subtle layers can soften into sound, release habitual tension, and open toward deeper rest.
